Terms of service
1. General
Welcome to Cays Designs. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before purchasing our products or services.
2. Quotations
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice if material costs or project requirements change before an order is confirmed.
3. Orders & Payment
Production will only commence once:
- Payment has been received (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
- Artwork has been approved where applicable.
- All required information has been supplied by the customer.
Orders remain the property of Cays Designs until paid for in full.
4. Artwork Approval
Customers are responsible for checking all artwork, spelling, dimensions, colours, and layout before approving artwork for production.
Once artwork has been approved, Cays Designs cannot accept responsibility for errors contained within the approved artwork.
5. Production & Lead Times
Estimated production and delivery times are provided as a guide only and may vary depending on workload, material availability, supplier lead times, weather conditions, and installation requirements.
6. Installation
Where installation is included, customers are responsible for ensuring that the installation area is accessible and suitable for installation.
Additional charges may apply if unforeseen site conditions or delays occur.
7. Custom Products
Custom-made, personalised, printed, or branded products are manufactured specifically for each customer and cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty or incorrectly produced.
8. Warranty
Cays Designs uses quality materials from trusted suppliers. Manufacturer warranties apply where applicable. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, vandalism, normal wear and tear, or incorrect care.
9. Limitation of Liability
Cays Designs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our liability is limited to the value of the product or service supplied.
10. Intellectual Property
All artwork, designs, photographs, logos, website content, and other intellectual property remain the property of Cays Designs unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Customers warrant that they have permission to use any logos, trademarks, images, or artwork supplied for production.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
